Conscious Festival April 2019
We were so happy to be a part of the Conscious Festival this year at the Kerry Hotel! This was a very special event for us as the 2018 Conscious Festival was the first time anyone had seen our magical dissolving plastic in public (including us)!
This fully vegan 2 day festival had music, entertainment, fun for adults and kids! So many creative brands with unique and innovative ideas to help educate and make a difference in our world. From ethical brands, who make sure everyone is paid fairly for their work, to bottle free toiletries to cut down on single use plastic, to food composters to reduce food waste; this really was an inclusive event for everyone.
Being a ‘plastic free’ event, our booth caused a bit of a commotion at peak times, with inquisitive visitors wondering what all this ‘plastic’ was doing here! Have a look at this video taken at the event showing our demo:
Hydroplast Limited gave us an amazing demo of their solution to no-plastic at the recent Conscious Festival. After years of seeking and searching, I Can’t wait to see how that can be applied to my business !!#noplastic

The amazing people over at Green Is The New Black who organised this event, even put together an open and honest sustainability report in the aftermath. When labels can often be often be used as a marketing ploy to trick consumers into thinking a brand is more sustainable than it truly is, it’s so refreshing to see GITNB be so transparent. We need more brands and companies to be comfortable looking inward, to see improvements that can be made. Sharing what works and what doesn’t is helpful to all of us.
